Career

Philippe Touitou started his career in international business law firms, including US law firms. Admitted to the Paris Bar since 2004, Philippe founded his own practice in 2006. In 2008, he founded the law firm Legipass and, in 2020, the law firm Legipass Avocats (co-founded with Richard Wetzel).

Areas of practice

Philippe Touitou’s practice is mainly focused on the following three areas :

• Corporate law: trade law and regulation, business law, contracts.

• Digital law: intellectual property, computer and information technology law.

• Advertising and communication law.

Education

Post graduate degree in digital and new technologies law, with honors (Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and Paris XI Sceaux Universities);
Post graduate degree in economic and business law, with honors (Orléans University);
Master’s degree in business law (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University).

Publications

Philippe Touitou has written numerous articles on computer law, Information and Technology law, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and IT security. Philippe Touitou is also co-author of the book « IT security: technical, organizational and legal solutions », co-published in 2007 by Hermès Publishing and Lavoisier.

Memberships

Philippe Touitou is a member of the ADIJ association (Association for the Development of Digital Law), the UPE association (Union for Alpes-Maritime companies) and the Club Business 06 in Nice.
